Beijing, July 28 /Xinhua/ — The European Union (EU) has recently been constantly implementing protectionist measures against China, which has seriously undermined the trust of Chinese enterprises in cooperation with this bloc, said Lin Weilong, director of the Political Research Office of the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC, on Tuesday.
The scale of cooperation between China and the EU is enormous, and disagreements and frictions are inevitable, Lin Weilin said at a press conference organized by the State Council Information Office of the PRC.
However, such disagreements should not be used as an excuse for making unfounded accusations, much less as a pretext for imposing restrictions, exerting pressure, or undermining practical cooperation, he emphasized.
