New Delhi, July 24 /Xinhua/ — At least 13 people died and two were injured on Friday in the mountainous state of Himachal Pradesh in northern India after a massive boulder rolled down a slope and crashed onto a moving vehicle. This information was confirmed by a local government official.
According to reports, the incident occurred near the Kadhunala-Rahauli area of the Chamba district.
As a result of the incident, the rear part of the vehicle caught fire. At the time of the tragedy, there were 15 people inside the cabin. Two of the injured were taken to the local hospital. According to preliminary data, the victims were local residents.
