The international conference Data Fusion 2026 will be held in Moscow on April 8–9.
Welcome to the participants, partners, and organizers of the sixth international Data Fusion conference. It brings together scientists, experts, business representatives, and government authorities who make a significant contribution to fulfilling the task set by the President for the digital transformation of sectors of the national economy, social sphere, and state and municipal management.
You pay special attention to the development of solutions based on artificial intelligence. Gradually, they are introduced into all sectors, allowing many processes to be systematized and accelerated. They make interaction between citizens and agencies easier. Including on the public services portal, where a virtual assistant has been created based on Russian-language models.
The practice of applying intelligent technologies is expanding in our region in various industries. They are used, for example, in the field of sports, in construction, for traffic analysis, and in many other sectors of the economy.
To increase the number of such examples across the entire country, the Government supports centers based at universities and research organizations that conduct research in the field of artificial intelligence. Through state grants, innovative software products are being created there based on large fundamental models for data processing and generation.
Only last year these centers developed solutions for safe navigation of drones in agribusiness, automation of automobile production, acceleration of engineering team work. For the recommendation of career and educational trajectories of applicants. And much more was done.
Of course, significant results are seen in leading Russian companies that constantly improve their generative neural networks, thereby expanding opportunities for citizens and business.
The flagship language model “Yandex”, for example, trained on hundreds of billions of parameters, is capable of independently planning actions and helping to write program code. And the one created by “Sber” is already integrated into the business processes of more than 15 thousand domestic enterprises, where it allows effective work with data.

The president emphasized that “the development of artificial intelligence is possibly one of the largest technological projects in history.” It is extremely important that such solutions be developed and applied in our country. Today, this is a matter of digital independence and sovereignty. This can be ensured by combining the efforts of governments, business circles, Russian experts, and researchers. I expect that the conference will contribute to this.
