Washington, July 24 /Xinhua/ — The United States armed forces delivered another series of strikes on Iranian military targets on Thursday evening, marking the 13th consecutive night of attacks. This was reported by the United States Central Command (CENTCOM).
The strikes began at 6:45 p.m. Eastern Time and were aimed at “holding Iran accountable and reducing the threats posed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps /IRGC/ to commercial shipping,” according to a command statement on the social media platform X.
In another message on the social network X, the command stated that since the resumption of the naval blockade against Iran earlier this month, the U.S. armed forces have redirected 12 commercial vessels and prevented one ship from entering or leaving Iranian ports or coastal zones.
