Red Wings launches new flights to Batumi from six cities on April 8, 2026.

The airline Red Wings has opened sales for direct flights to Batumi from six Russian cities – Tyumen, Saratov, Perm, Volgograd, Orenburg, and Chelyabinsk. Flights will be operated as part of the summer schedule of 2026 from June to October.

Flights from Perm will be operated twice a week starting June 9 – on Tuesdays and Fridays, from Tyumen – starting June 13 on Saturdays, from Orenburg – starting June 14 on Sundays. Flights from Chelyabinsk are scheduled from June 11 with departures on Mondays and Thursdays, from Saratov – from June 10 on Wednesdays, from Volgograd – from June 13 on Saturdays. Travel time will depend on the destination and will be from two to four hours.

Additionally, starting June 8, Red Wings will resume flights on the Nizhny Novgorod – Batumi route with a frequency of once a week, and will also increase the number of flights between Sochi and Batumi during the summer season from May to September.

With the launch of new Red Wings routes, there will be flights to Georgia from a total of 15 Russian cities. In addition to the new routes, direct flights to Batumi are operated from Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Samara, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Krasnodar, and Sochi.

Batumi, washed by the Black Sea, remains a popular destination among Russian travelers. The city is known for its historical landmarks, including the Batumi Fortress, Orthodox shrines from the 19th century, and the old Chachvi quarter. The resort is also famous for its local cuisine and festivals.
