In 2026, more than 3.2 billion rubles will be allocated to ensure the stable operation of the fuel and energy complex of the Belgorod region. The order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The funds will be used to reimburse expenses for the purchase of mobile modular substations and power transformers necessary for reliable electricity supply to the region’s consumers.

Commenting on the decision made at at the cabinet meeting on July 23, Mikhail Mishustin noted that the situation in the border areas is under special control of the President and the Government.

“It is important that measures are promptly taken locally to ensure residential buildings have heat, electricity, and water, that clinics, educational institutions, trade and catering facilities, industrial enterprises, as well as public transport, operate fully,” emphasized the Chairman of the Government.

The head of the cabinet asked all relevant ministries to stay in close contact with regional authorities and jointly address the issues that arise locally.
