During the meeting with Brazil’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Mauro Vieira, Wang Yi pointed out that under the strategic leadership of the two heads of state, the parties have made progress in jointly building a China-Brazil community with a shared future for a more just world and a more sustainable planet.
Wan Yi, who is also a member of the CPC Central Committee Politburo, noted that the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries has always been at the forefront of international relations. According to Wang Yi, China expects to implement together with Brazil the important consensus reached by the heads of the two states, and to strengthen cooperation in areas such as space exploration, connectivity, and artificial intelligence, giving even greater impetus to the development of both countries.
As the head of the Chinese foreign affairs department noted, China welcomes Brazil’s accession to the Global AI Cooperation Organization to protect common interests and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation at a new stage of the scientific and technological revolution.
