On Tuesday, July 21, a test drive of the newest generation KAMAZ K5 vehicles took place at the Igora Drive racetrack in the Leningrad region.
The event was aimed at representatives of the freight transportation sector, fleet owners, logistics and construction companies, for whom it is important to personally assess the capabilities of various models of KAMAZ generation K5 tractor trucks. The welcoming address was given by Andrey Kozhevnikov, General Director of the KAMAZ Trading and Financial Company. There was also a presentation by PJSC KAMAZ, during which company speakers introduced the lineup of the newest generation K5 vehicles, explained their key advantages, and the terms of service maintenance.
Guests were able to evaluate the capabilities of the K5 generation highway tractors in real track conditions. Four models were provided for the test drive: the KAMAZ-54901 running on LNG, coupled with a curtain-sided TZA semi-trailer, the KAMAZ-65659 coupled with a NEFAZ dump semi-trailer, as well as the KAMAZ-65656. Special interest was sparked by the representative of the heavy family, the KAMAZ-65956, whose production started in 2026.
Alongside, there was an exhibition of K5 trucks, in demand across various fields including construction and logistics. The display featured a concrete mixer truck on a KAMAZ-65951 chassis, a vehicle with an INMAN crane manipulator on a KAMAZ-65657 chassis, a multilift on a KAMAZ-65951 chassis, a dump truck on a KAMAZ-65959 chassis, a KAMAZ-65955 semi-trailer tractor with a frame taper, and timber trucks based on the KAMAZ-6595 and KAMAZ-65955 models. Two versions of the flagship KAMAZ-54901 highway tractors were also showcased, one of which runs on compressed natural gas (CNG).
In addition, as part of the event, an entertainment program was prepared for the guests, which included themed quizzes and an extreme show with bicycle stunts.
