In the city of Lishuy, the local authorities support the development of guest houses, which attract urban tourists for short trips, turning natural landscapes into sustainable sources of income.
Pakistan faces challenges such as high youth unemployment, low adult literacy rates in rural areas, and low economic activity among women. Therefore, according to Khalil Khan, the country should borrow Chinese experience and implement targeted measures.
He emphasized that China has helped hundreds of millions of people rise out of poverty and has become an example of development focused on people’s interests for the entire world. Pakistan’s Minister of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal had earlier stated that Pakistan intends to use the Chinese model of poverty alleviation to assist underdeveloped regions.
Khalil Khan believes that China’s success is not accidental, but is the result of consistent political commitment, institutional innovations, and the promotion of localized solutions at the national level.
