At the National Museum of Ancient Books at the National Library of China, a multimedia exhibition “Inside the Qianlong Garden — an Immersive Light Exhibition” was held. The Qianlong Garden (1711-1799) is located northwest of the Palace of Tranquility and Longevity in the Gugong Museum and represents a synthesis of garden and park art, architecture, painting, and carving. Based on historical heritage and using advanced digital technologies, the exhibition created 15 immersive scenes and 17 interactive installations that allow visitors to interactively see and experience the architectural aesthetics of the classical garden and related cultural-historical narratives.
