Tehran, April 8 /Xinhua/ — The movement of oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz was suspended after an Israeli strike on Lebanon. This was reported on Wednesday by the Iranian semi-official news agency Fars.
According to Iranian media, after the ceasefire between the USA and Iran came into effect on Wednesday morning, the first ship passed through the Strait of Hormuz with the “permission” of Tehran. The social network service X, which monitors ships, also reported that ship movements in the Strait of Hormuz resumed after the cessation of fire. –0–
