The Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) will present the “Developing the Far East” pavilion at the “Far East Street” exhibition, which will take place as part of the Eastern Economic Forum – 2026. The organizer of the exhibition is the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District.
“The Pavilion of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East becomes an important part of the ‘Far East Street’ exhibition every year and traditionally attracts significant interest from participants and guests of the Eastern Economic Forum. Visitors will be able to learn about the advanced development of the Far Eastern and Arctic regions, the attraction of investments to these territories, the implementation of new investment projects, the renovation of cities, and the improvement of the quality of life for residents of the Far East and the North. I am confident that the Ministry’s exposition will surprise visitors and encourage them to learn more about the Far East and the Arctic,” said Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Chairman of the Government – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District, Chairman of the organizational committee of the Eastern Economic Forum.
The “Developing the Far East” pavilion will traditionally be located in the central area of the “Far East Street” exhibition. The exposition will introduce visitors to the results of accelerated socio-economic development efforts in strategically significant macro-regions, current and new state support tools for investors, social programs, projects aimed at improving people’s quality of life, and opportunities for self-realization in various fields.
The central element of the pavilion will be a lecture hall where sessions of the VEF business program, lectures, master classes, project presentations, and events of the “Muravyov-Amursky 2030” program will take place. There will also be special screenings of films—winners and prize-winners of the nationwide contest “Far East – Land of Adventures.”
The exhibition will include two immersive galleries. Here, participants of the EEF-2026, residents, and guests of Vladivostok will be able to get acquainted with key objects of the master plans of Far Eastern cities and Arctic support points. On an interactive showcase, products manufactured by new enterprises established in the Far East and the Arctic with state support, as well as participants of the “Hectare” program, which turned 10 years old this year, will be presented.
With the help of artificial intelligence technologies, those interested will be able to “try on” professions that are in demand today in the Far Eastern and Arctic regions. Virtual reality technologies will allow visitors to take a virtual journey along the routes of the “Paths of the Far East” project, and the winners of the “Far East – Land of Adventures” contest will share their practical experience.
“The development of the Far East and the Arctic is based on a simple and clear message: people and their families should feel comfortable living, studying, and creating here. The ‘Developing the Far East’ pavilion will visually demonstrate to all participants and guests of the forum how the appearance of our territories is changing and what opportunities for creation, creativity, and business are opening up thanks to the large-scale changes happening in real time in these beautiful and strategically important lands for our entire country,” noted the Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, Alexey Chekunkov.
The 11th Eastern Economic Forum will take place from September 1 to 4 at the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok. During these days, the exhibition will be available to forum participants, and on September 5, 6, and 7 it will be open to everyone interested. The organizer of the EEF is the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Government of Russia.
