Specialists urban utilities complex improvements will be carried out at Artem Borovik Park in the southeast of the capital. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Communal Services and Improvement Petr Biryukov.

“The Artem Borovik Park is one of the main attractions of the Maryino district, located at the intersection of Bratislavskaya and Pererva streets, very close to the Bratislavskaya metro station. This year, we will update the park’s infrastructure, restore the existing memorial, and create a memorial complex, whose highlight will be the installation ‘Printed Trace’ featuring quotes from the journalist,” noted Petr Biryukov.

As part of the project implementation, the road and footpath network will be brought into order, convenient benches for rest will be installed, as well as park swings and gazebos with canopies.

Quality lighting is one of the key factors shaping a comfortable urban environment. During the work in the park, the lamps and the video surveillance system will be replaced. New playgrounds will be arranged for children of different ages, and the stage for events will be renovated. For outdoor fitness enthusiasts, a multifunctional sports area will be created.

The head of the urban amenities complex reminded that greening is a mandatory component of all capital improvement projects. Additional trees will be planted and a lawn will be laid out in the park area.
