Musical and poetic performance “Soul Therapy” will take place on Pokrovsky Boulevard as part of the international festival “Theater Boulevard”, organized by the metropolitan Department of Culture. On July 22 at 7:00 PM, Honored Artist of Russia Elena Ksenofontova will perform together with pianist Alexander Vishnevsky. Admission is free.
The program includes works by Marina Tsvetaeva, Igor Severyanin, Bulat Okudzhava, Andrei Voznesensky, and Alexander Vertinsky, as well as original texts by Elena Ksenofontova. Both well-known pieces and contemporary texts will be performed. The performance will combine poetry, music, and personal reflections on love, happiness, and the search for the meaning of life.
Elena Ksenofontova is an honored artist of Russia, an actress of theater and cinema. She is known to viewers for her roles in the TV series “Kitchen,” “Hotel Eleon,” and “Grand.”
The third season of the festival “Theatre Boulevard” takes place from May 30 to August 30, 2026. The venues are located on Pushkinskaya Embankment in Gorky Park, at the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve, on Pokrovsky and Chistoprudny Boulevards, as well as in the park near the Polytechnic Museum. A novelty is the mobile stage “Diligence” — it operates on weekends in parks of different districts of Moscow.
The festival helps make professional stage art accessible to a wide audience, integrates theater into the urban environment, and supports independent, youth, and regional groups. In addition, its participants include leading theaters such as the Moscow Art Theatre named after A.P. Chekhov, the Maly Theatre, as well as famous actors, including soloists of the Bolshoi Theatre.
In June, more than 100 groups from Moscow, Novosibirsk, Saint Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Yaroslavl, Samara, and other cities performed at the Theatre Boulevard venues. Over the month, the festival presented more than 300 performances and interactive programs. Guests watched opera and ballet productions, musicals, and poetry shows, took part in acting and dance classes, and also attended creative meetings.
