Tehran, April 8 /Xinhua/ — Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi discussed on Wednesday in a telephone conversation with the Chief of Staff of the Pakistan Armed Forces Asim Munir the violation by Israel of the recently reached ceasefire between Tehran and Washington.

As noted in the statement by the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both sides indicated the necessity of continuing bilateral coordination and adherence to agreements reached during a recent telephone conversation between the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif.

A. Aragchi highly appreciated the “constructive and responsible” role of the Pakistani government, as well as the consistent and effective efforts of A. Munir as one of the key mediators for ending the war, strengthening peace and security in Western Asia. –0–
