Beijing, July 20 /Xinhua/ — The resolute calls by local assemblies in Japan to adhere to the “three non-nuclear principles” reflect the public’s desire for peace in that country, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian on Monday at a regular departmental press conference.
According to him, such voices also indicate that the erroneous choice of Japan’s ruling authorities, manifested in the departure from the pacifist constitution and the acceleration of remilitarization, does not find support among the people.
