A batch of 20 KAMAZ-54901 tractor units has been delivered to the leading Russian retailer “Lenta Group.” The deal was carried out under the leasing program of JSC “KAMAZ Leasing Company.”
Made to the individual order of the “Lenta Group,” the vehicles are finished in an exclusive color scheme – metallic blue. The leading multi-format grocery and FMCG retailer in Russia will use the vehicles to deliver goods from distribution centers to hypermarkets. The high-tech KAMAZ highway tractors will operate in various regions of the country.
Retail network logistics imposes increased demands on the reliability of transport and the accuracy of delivery schedules. The KAMAZ-54901 model meets these parameters and is widely used by Russian companies for intercity transportation.
The vehicle is equipped with a modern inline six-cylinder KAMAZ R6 engine with a displacement of 13 liters, producing 483 hp, and a 12-speed automated manual transmission that features low noise levels and high efficiency. The spacious high cab with two sleeping berths provides enhanced comfort for the driver. The use of modern high-tech design solutions has allowed the service interval to be increased to 120,000 km, and the engine lifespan to 1.5 million km, while reducing fuel consumption by 10% compared to previous generation vehicles.
