Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has established a Government Commission for the liquidation of the consequences of the floods in the territory of Dagestan. An order regarding this has been signed.
The government commission was headed by the Minister for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters, Alexander Kurenkov.
The commission included the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology Alexander Kozlov, the head of the Federal Agency for Water Resources Dmitry Kirillov, the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova, the head of the Federal Service for Natural Resource Usage Svetlana Radionova, the head of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency Veronika Skvortsova, the head of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision Alexander Trembitsky, the head of the Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring Igor Shumakov, the head of the Republic of Dagestan Sergey Melikov,Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District Magomed Ramazanov.
Also, by the order of Mikhail Mishustin, representatives of the Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Digital Development, Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard, the Federal Agency for State Reserves, and other departments were included in the commission.
President Vladimir Putin held a meeting on April 7 via videoconference regarding the elimination of the consequences of floods in Dagestan. The head of state instructed to help the affected people and also to provide support to the region in addressing pressing issues.
