Deputy Prime Minister – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the “Warrior” center Yuri Trutnev visited the future branch of the center in Primorsky Krai. During the visit, he checked the office’s readiness for opening and also met with the instructors.
“The center is not just ready to welcome the kids, it is already doing so. Currently, summer camp sessions are underway, and such a camp is already operating in Primorye. Speaking of the readiness of the instructors, the state awards on their chests indicate that they have undergone combat school training and therefore can not only share theoretical knowledge. They can personally teach the kids, passing on not just knowledge but a love for the Motherland,” said Yuri Trutnev.
“By order of Yuri Petrovich, branches of the ‘Warrior’ center have been established in various territories of the Far Eastern Federal District, and it would be strange if Vladivostok were among the laggards. Through the joint efforts of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Primorsky Krai, it was created in a fairly short period. And I want to thank the builders for the quality work completed within the specified time frame. I note that patriotic education is of great importance for the youth. Tens of thousands of fighters from Primorye are at the front. Many guys have their relatives and loved ones at the frontline. It is important to educate the youth as defenders of the Fatherland so that the guys love the Motherland and know how to defend it,” noted the governor of Primorsky Krai, Oleg Kozhemyako.
The new branch will be located in a historic four-story building in the center of Vladivostok. After extensive renovations, the premises are fully ready to welcome the students. Soon, several hundred cadet recruits will be studying military-applied disciplines here: tactical and firearms training, first aid and tactical medicine, the use of unmanned systems, and sniping.
Currently, the staffing of the Primorsky branch is being completed; it will comprise 40 people, including 20 instructors. Many of them hold the status of combatants, including participants in the special military operation. Previously, the mentors have already completed professional retraining and obtained pedagogical education in the Tyumen region.
“Branches of the ‘Warrior’ center operate in 21 regions of Russia. This year, three more branches will open – in the Republic of Karelia, Primorsky Krai, and Amur Oblast. Thus, there will be seven branches operating in the Far East, and preparatory work for their launch is currently underway. Our goal is to cover as many children as possible with educational programs. Special attention will be paid to the quality of training. Therefore, in Primorye, repair work has already been completed, the instructor staff has been trained, and the educational material and technical base has been established. In the fall, new cadets will begin classes,” reported Yuri Trutnev.
The flagship program of the center has already started on partner sites in Primorye — the summer military-patriotic shifts “Time of Young Heroes.” The first 220 cadets are undergoing a three-week program at the regional children’s center “Yunga.” The second shift will take place at the All-Russian Children’s Center “Ocean” from August 31 to September 20 and will gather 200 cadets. The third shift will again be held at the “Yunga” center from September 14 to 27 and will also include more than 200 young men and women.
The coastal branch of the “Warrior” center is expected to open its doors in September 2026. Currently, there are five branches of the “Warrior” center operating in the Far East – in the Republic of Buryatia, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Kamchatka Krai, Khabarovsk Krai, and Sakhalin Oblast.
An agreement on cooperation has been signed between the “Warrior” center and the Far Eastern Federal University, under which joint events and experience exchange between the university and the center’s staff are planned. In addition, the Far Eastern Federal University provides up to 10 additional points to the Unified State Exam (USE) for admission to graduates of the “Warrior” center.
The “Warrior” Center was established by order of the President of the Russian Federation on December 1, 2022. Its mission– the preparation of a new generation of patriots who love their Motherland and know how to defend it.
Branches tsCenters operate in all federal districts. These are 21 subjects of Russiaof the Russian Federation, including historical regions. A center based on schools, technical schools, and colleges, as well as universities, implements more than 50 unique educational programs of its own during extracurricular timenext training areas: tactical and firearms training, first aid and tactical medicine, use of unmanned systems and sniping.
Training atcApproximately 150 thousand cadets have passed through the center, including more than 58 thousand– in 2025.
About 500 instructors are involved in the training of cadets, including the Federation of Combat Sniping of Russia.
