Shenzhen, July 15 /Xinhua/ — In the first six months of 2026, 118 China-Europe freight trains were dispatched from Shenzhen /Guangdong Province, South China/. The total value of goods transported amounted to 4.13 billion yuan /about 608 million USD/, representing an increase of 38.8% and 65.1%, respectively, compared to the same period last year. Currently, freight routes from Shenzhen, China to Europe mainly pass through two directions: via the Manzhouli checkpoint into Russia, and also via the Alashankou and Khorgos checkpoints to Germany, Poland, and other European countries.
Since the beginning of the year, the cargo flow structure continues to optimize: the share of such high-tech products as electronics and engineering equipment reached 38% and 19% respectively of the total cargo value. The geography of supply sources extends across the entire Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and several inland provinces of China, and the number of regular partner enterprises is steadily increasing.
To ensure the uninterrupted operation of the China-Europe international logistics channel, Shenzhen Customs, together with railway and logistics platforms, is actively implementing the “accelerated railway transit” mode, which allows for “one-time declaration, one-time inspection, and one-time clearance.”
“Individual consultations on customs clearance are provided to enterprises, and for high-tech cargoes, such as integrated circuits and intelligent equipment, an expedited clearance mechanism operates: goods arrive, undergo inspection, and are released in the shortest possible time. This ensures stable and timely completion of customs procedures,” said Xu Zhenkan, head of the inspection department of Sungang Customs, subordinate to Shenzhen Customs.
