New York, July 14 /Xinhua/ — The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury on Tuesday imposed new sanctions against Iran.

Among them is the prohibition on entering into any new commercial transactions concerning the property or property rights of all sanctioned persons, as well as the prohibition on conducting any transactions or activities prohibited by the decree “Imposition of sanctions on additional sectors of Iran” dated January 10, 2020, including any transactions or actions related to Iran, the Iranian government, or goods or services of Iranian origin.
