On April 11, new routes № 1442 and 1442a from Moscow to Krasnoznamensk will open. The line will feature 25 modern large-class buses.

“Following the instructions of Sergei Sobyanin, together with the Government of the Moscow Region, we are developing a unified transport space for the residents of the capital and the Moscow Region. On Cosmonautics Day, we are launching a route to Krasnoznamensk — a city closely connected with the history of space exploration and providing a control complex for spacecraft. Together with colleagues, we have done everything to make the trips between Krasnoznamensk and Moscow more comfortable and faster,” said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

Maksim Liksutov.

Advantages of new routes

Twenty percent more trips will be opened on the new route. Up to 25 buses will run on the line with an average interval of seven minutes on weekdays. Due to the increased number of intervals, waiting time at stops will be reduced. Previously, up to 19 buses of various models operated on route No. 442 of the regional carrier.

On the additional route No. 1442a from Krasnoznamensk to Moscow, there will be four trips at the most in-demand time in the morning. Then, buses on this route will continue to operate on route No. 1442.

In addition, the number of seats on the long route No. 1442 has decreased. It will remain at the level of 3.6 thousand seats — the same as on route No. 442 of the regional carrier.

Each bus on the new route is low-floor, with a comfortable aisle and an exit from all doors. There is a large gathering area for transporting passengers with limited mobility.

Route No. 58a of the regional carrier from Krasnoznamensk to Lesnoy Gorodok station will additionally earn moneyMoscow central diameter(MCD). Thanks to this, residents will be able to build alternative and the most convenient routes.
