As a result of the prolonged impact of Typhoon Maesak (the tenth this year), many areas in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (Guangxi Zhuang AR) in southern China experienced extremely heavy rainfall, causing a series of disasters. Tens of thousands of residents were urgently evacuated. Rescue operations are currently underway in a tense mode, and in some areas, work has already begun to eliminate the consequences of the natural disaster.
