14th place among Russian universities, high salary expectations, and one of the largest amounts of practical experience among graduates: this is the assessment received by the State University of Management in the study by the career platform Changellenge.

More than 9,000 students and recent graduates with high potential from 47 Russian universities evaluated universities for admission, shared salary expectations, and practical experience gained during their studies.

The State University of Management entered the top 30 best universities in the country for the first time according to survey participants and immediately took a high position, ranking 14th.

At the same time, our graduates have one of the greatest amounts of practical experience — on average from 3.5 to 5.5 years. This allows them to feel confident in the labor market, which also reflects on their salary expectations, which are higher than those of students from most other universities: they expect 81,000 to 99,000 rubles during internships and 98,000 to 128,000 rubles in their first regular position.

Researchers noted that the average salary expectations of students from the top 30 universities have also increased: during internships, they expect 65.6 thousand rubles, and for the first full-time position – from 87.2 thousand rubles. Over the year, these figures grew by 41.4% and 26.9%, respectively.

Recall that this year, GUU took 8th place in the Interfax ranking in the field of “Public and Municipal Administration” and in the Superjob rankings for graduates’ salaries in the legal and economic fields, and also entered the list of leading universities in Russia by graduate employment levels according to the National Graduate Employment Ranking-2026.
