On July 1, the Qingdao Cruise Terminal launched the first voyage of the summer season: the large cruise ship “Liyang” set off on its inaugural trip on the route “Qingdao – Jeju Island – Incheon – Qingdao.” According to the Qingdao Border Service under the General Administration of Border Control of Shandong Province, in the more than two years since China introduced a visa-free regime for foreign tourist groups arriving on cruise ships, more than 70 cruise vessels have entered and departed from Qingdao cruise terminals. These ships carried over 100,000 passengers on board.
