Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak spoke at the solemn diploma awarding ceremony in honor of the 20th anniversary of the Higher School of Public Administration of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
“Universities, education, and science play a key role in achieving the national development goals set by the President, and Moscow University, particularly your faculty, plays a leading role in addressing these tasks. The Higher School of Public Administration at MSU is an important link in fundamental and applied education within the university system and the entire country. For 20 years, the faculty has been training highly qualified personnel for public service, administrative and personnel structures, creative industry organizations, sports, and business entities. Graduates of the Higher School occupy high and responsible positions in the country’s government bodies, form the elite of administrative and managerial personnel, and participate in solving the country’s key socio-economic challenges,” noted the Deputy Prime Minister.
As part of the event, MSU Rector Viktor Sadovnichiy presented Alexander Novak, as an outstanding graduate of Moscow University, with the commemorative badge “270 Years of MSU.”
