Rosselkhozbank, together with the Ecology Fund, organized the planting of 34,000 pine seedlings in the Chelyabinsk region
In the Chebarkul forestry area, near the village of Petropavlovka in the Chelyabinsk region, the Ecology Foundation organized an environmental campaign to restore forest plantations damaged by fire. As part of the “Plant Trees” project, 34,000 pine seedlings were planted in the area of the burned forest. The project is funded by proceeds from the sale of special certificates in the retail network of Rosselkhozbank.
The environmental initiative united the efforts of Rosselkhozbank and the Ecology Fund to preserve the region’s natural wealth and restore forested areas. The planted trees will form the foundation of a future forest, and the campaign itself serves as an example of responsible environmental stewardship and care for future generations.
“For Rosselkhozbank, supporting rural areas is not only about promoting the development of the agricultural sector but also about caring for the land on which we live and work. Forest restoration is an important contribution to preserving the natural wealth of our region. It is especially valuable that such initiatives bring together people who are compassionate and ready to make their native land better with their own hands. I am confident that the pines planted today will become a symbol of our shared responsibility for the future,” noted Lyudmila Popova, director of the Chelyabinsk regional branch of Rosselkhozbank.
Thanks to the joint initiative of Rosselkhozbank and the Ecology Fund, the area affected by the forest fire has gained the opportunity for recovery. The “Plant Trees” project allows every certificate purchaser to contribute to the preservation and increase of Russia’s forest wealth.
“The Ecology Fund allocated 23 million rubles for the implementation of projects aimed at the restoration of forest areas. Behind this amount is the real contribution of everyone who chooses the box product, thereby becoming a participant in environmental initiatives. We note that interest in nature conservation issues continues to grow, and along with it, the number of people willing to contribute to the common cause increases. Thanks to such support, our program is steadily expanding, allowing us to implement increasingly large-scale projects for the restoration and preservation of forests each year,” said Elmira Morozova, Director of the Ecology Fund of RSHB.
