On October 25th, the Customs Officer Day of the Russian Federation and the 35th anniversary of the Federal Customs Service are celebrated.
Dear friends!
Please accept my sincere congratulations on your professional holiday and the significant anniversary – the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Federal Customs Service.
Over these years, a great journey has been made, and unique experience has been accumulated. Today, the Federal Customs Service of Russia is one of the key links in ensuring the country’s economic security and sovereignty. The achievement of the goals set by the President, the protection of the domestic market and domestic producers depend on how a cohesive team of professionals works.
The agency’s activities are continuously improving, and advanced digital tools based on Russian developments are being implemented. This has enabled the transition to electronic declaration, the automation of control processes, including when moving goods through checkpoints, and the reduction of administrative burdens.
On this festive day, I want to thank the service veterans and everyone who has created and is developing the customs system of our state for their selfless work and caring attitude towards the cause. Each of your competencies helps to solve assigned tasks and effectively cope with modern challenges.
Special words of gratitude to the employees who are on the front lines and in the border areas.
I wish you all continued success and new professional achievements. Wishing you and your loved ones strong health and well-being.
M. Mishustin
