“Over six seasons, the contest ‘Science. Territory of Heroes’ has brought together more than 117 thousand schoolchildren and students. It is held during the Decade of Science and Technology, declared by our President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, and helps to nurture enthusiasm and tireless pursuit of new knowledge in children from an early age. And this, according to the head of state, is the key to great discoveries. I invite schoolchildren and students to participate. I am confident that ‘Science. Territory of Heroes,’ together with other projects of the Decade, will help even more children and youth to connect their lives with science and will provide an impetus for Russia’s technological achievements,” noted Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
In the new season, participants are in for a scientific adventure and two directions: chemical-biological (“Biochemistry of Discoveries”) and physical-mathematical (“Energy of Numbers”). The children will investigate water, soil and atmosphere, plants and organisms, climate, natural processes and energy sources, as well as determine routes and locations for research stations.
Every week, new tasks for participants are posted on the website герои.наука.рф. Additional materials are available on the platform, where hints for the tasks can be found.
The final will take place in February 2027. The winners will receive trips to scientific centers in Russia, additional points for admission to the country’s leading universities, and cash grants from the company “Beeline”.
In the sixth season of the “Science. Territory of Heroes” contest, more than 27,000 schoolchildren and students participated, and 9 people became finalists. “Science.
