An educational campaign called the Economic Dictation was held at the State University of Management. More than 600 people took part in the event: students, postgraduates, teachers, and invited guests.

For the participants, it was not just a knowledge test. The dictation allowed participants to assess their level of economic literacy and apply theoretical knowledge when solving practical tasks.

The tasks covered a wide range of topics – from basic economic categories to modern trends, including issues of the digital economy.

Participants not only completed test and situational tasks but also discussed ambiguous cases. This format helped to form a multifaceted view of current economic processes.

The Economic Dictation at the State University of Management was held as part of a large-scale nationwide educational initiative – the All-Russian Economic Dictation, organized by the Free Economic Society of Russia.

The campaign is aimed at improving the economic literacy of the population, broadening economic horizons, developing interest in the current economic agenda, and fostering a culture of financial behavior.

The State University of Management regularly participates in the events of the Free Economic Society of Russia. Traditionally, students of the Institute of Economics and Finance of the State University of Management are actively involved in the Economic Dictation – for them, this is not only a way to test their knowledge but also an important part of their professional development.
