Moscow district youth chambers regularly deliver humanitarian aid to participants of the special military operation (SMO) and residents of border regions. Activists weave camouflage nets, make trench candles, write letters, and bring all this to the fighters.

“Work is being carried out in all districts of the capital. The guys are engaging citizens in volunteering, together with whom they collect humanitarian aid,” she noted

Marina Prozorova, Deputy Head of the Moscow Department of Territorial Executive Authorities.

Young parliamentarians of the Kosino-Ukhtomsky district have sent about 50,000 trench candles and sets of dry showers to the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Republic of Crimea since 2023.

“We send humanitarian aid every three months. Recently, we delivered a new package weighing over 200 kilograms to the Berdyansk and Pokrovske directions,” shared Viktoria Anisimova, chairwoman of the local youth chamber, member of the Youth Chamber under the Moscow City Duma.

Victoria Anisimova was awarded the medal “For Assistance and Mercy” for supporting the participants of the SVO. The award was presented to her by Viktor Goremykin, Army General, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Chief of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

The chairman of the youth chamber of the Nagatino-Sadovniki district, a member of the Youth Chamber under the Moscow City Duma, Mikhail Frolov regularly participates in collecting and delivering necessary items to the front lines and border regions. This work is carried out within the framework of the public movement “Sadovniki — to Donbass.” So far, Mikhail has made 40 trips; his most recent route passed through Valuyki, Melitopol, Mariupol, Tokmak, and cities of the Luhansk People’s Republic. Volunteers delivered letters with warm words from Muscovites, as well as equipment, medicines, household items, and sweets. Mikhail Frolov notes that the fighters need support, and every message and item from home is valuable to them. This gives strength to the servicemen.

Young parliamentarian of the Presnensky district Alena Mosina organized the social project “Special World Gives Warmth.” Together with the youth chamber and local residents, she monthly sends over 200 kilograms of items, 400 trench candles, and 30 camouflage nets to the front. Since 2022, the city residents have sent 11 tons of humanitarian cargo to Belgorod, Kursk, Kherson regions, and to the Donetsk People’s Republic.

The Moscow Youth Parliament unites 132 district chambers. Thousands of city residents under the age of 30 participate in the political, social, and cultural life of the capital, implement significant projects, and build their personal career paths.
