Prices for a wide range of non-food goods in the regions rose moderately. Fuel continued to become more expensive, but much less so than in June–July, and prices varied across regions – in a third of them prices decreased or remained unchanged. Prices for electronics increased due to the weakening of the ruble and rising prices for components on the global market.

Overall, food prices across the country remained unchanged over the month. Vegetables and fruits from the new harvest continued to get cheaper. Sugar prices fell due to an increase in supply – processing of the harvested sugar beets has begun. At the same time, prices for eggs increased significantly due to seasonal growth in demand. Some types of cereals and fish products also became more expensive – this was influenced by a decrease in supply.

Service prices have risen noticeably in most regions. Traditionally, the cost of education services has increased, but this September it rose more than usual. Domestic tourism continued to become cheaper.
