Experts urban economy complex of Moscow completed road and landscaping works in the west of the capital, making movement comfortable and safe for both motorists and pedestrians. The passage running through the square, which locals call the Apple Orchard, between Kutuzovsky Avenue and Bagration Avenue, has been put in order.
As part of the project, the road services renewed the pavement of the carriageway and repaired the adjacent pedestrian areas. The total area of asphalt laid on the carriageway amounted to almost 1.7 thousand square meters, and on the sidewalks — more than 2.5 thousand square meters. To separate pedestrian and traffic flows, workers installed new sturdy concrete curbs.
After the completion of the main roadworks, specialists tidied up the lawns of the square. On an area of more than 1,200 square meters, the soil layer was renewed and fresh grass was planted.
