More than 1.2 billion rubles will be allocated from the federal budget to three regions for the construction of educational institutions as part of the President’s directives. Such an order was signed by the Chairman of the Government, Mikhail Mishustin.

Funding will be provided to the Udmurt Republic, Krasnoyarsk Krai, and Sverdlovsk Oblast.

With these funds, the construction of a school for 1,100 students will begin in a new microdistrict of Izhevsk, and expenses will be reimbursed for the construction of a school for 1,280 students in the Michurinsky residential area in Krasnoyarsk. Part of the funding is allocated for the construction of a kindergarten for 350 children with nursery groups in the Kirovsky district of Yekaterinburg.

The decision was announced by Mikhail Mishustin at at the meeting with vice-premiers on October 13.

“The government continues to establish kindergartens, schools, and all necessary infrastructure across the country so that every child has equal opportunities to receive quality education,” emphasized the head of the cabinet, instructing Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko to keep the issues of timely financing and adherence to the deadlines of all planned activities under control.
