From January to September 2026, more than 1.2 million square meters of housing for participants were built and put into operation in the capital. renovation programs. Thus, the Moscow Renovation Fund has maintained its leadership in this indicator among all developers in Russia. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Policy and Construction Vladimir Efimov.

“In the nine months of this year, 60 buildings were constructed and put into operation in the capital as part of the renovation program, with a total residential area of more than 1.2 million square meters. This allowed the Moscow Renovation Fund to once again become the leader in housing commissioning among all developers in Russia. Thanks to the use of advanced solutions in the construction industry, the city is achieving impressive results in accelerating the pace of building houses, thereby reducing the timeframes for relocating renovation program participants into modern and comfortable housing. In the new buildings, over 20.5 thousand apartments with improved finishes were equipped, which is three thousand more than in the same period last year,” said Vladimir Efimov.

From January to September, new residential complexes for the renovation program were built in 10 administrative districts of Moscow.

The housing is constructed almost entirely from domestically produced materials. As a rule, the new apartments are larger than the old ones in terms of area. The buildings are erected in the same neighborhoods where the renovation program participants previously lived. Therefore, after moving, the new residents continue to use familiar infrastructure and maintain their accustomed lifestyle.

A high standard of housing quality is maintained through the unified approaches of “Moscow Control” to construction safety and reliability.

“Since the beginning of house construction for the renovation program, inspectors of Mosgosstroynadzor have conducted more than 610 on-site inspections in total. Employees of the subordinate Expertise Center (State Budgetary Institution “CEIIS”) also participated in the control and oversight activities, performing a range of laboratory and instrumental studies. Based on the results, conclusions were drawn regarding the compliance of the objects with the project documentation, after which the Moscow Committee of State Construction Supervision put them into operation,” added the chairman of Mosgosstroynadzor.

New buildings are designed with the needs of all residents in mind. Courtyards and sidewalks are created based on barrier-free environment principles. For example, pathways are made with minimal slope, spacious and bright lobbies are designed instead of narrow stairs in entrance halls, and convenient storage spaces and wide corridors without thresholds or steps are planned in entrances. Modern elevators are installed in all buildings.

By the end of 2025, the Moscow Renovation Fund ranked first in the rating for the volume of housing commissioned among developer companies in the capital and all of Russia. In total, as part of the renovation program last year, 119 buildings were constructed, containing more than 35 thousand apartments. New buildings appeared in all administrative districts of the capital.

The renovation program was approved in August 2017. It concerns about one million Muscovites and involves the resettlement of 5,176 buildings. Previously, Sergey Sobyanin ordered to increase the pace of the renovation program’s implementation in twice. He also mentioned that nearly 120 families will move into the new building under the renovation program at Kavkazsky Boulevard.
