Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin held a meeting of the Government Commission on Improving the Efficiency of Federal Property Use and Territorial Development, where they discussed the results of work in the third quarter of 2026, as well as key plans for the future.
“The work on involving unused land plots and objects into economic circulation offers enormous potential for the development of our cities and regions. Abandoned territories should become the foundation for the construction of housing, social facilities, enterprises, and the formation of public spaces. Comprehensive development of territories is one of the tools for this work. It allows not only the development of plots but also systematically changing the appearance of districts, creating a comfortable environment and attracting investments. Overall, by the end of the year, 5.6 thousand hectares of federal land should be developed. It is important to understand that the timeliness of this activity is decisive. Therefore, within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for Life,” it is necessary to strengthen work on reducing excessive administrative procedures and accelerating the investment and construction cycle. Of course, much has already been done, but now it is also necessary to focus on specific sectors and directions. The fewer the barriers, the faster the territories will be able to gain a new life. I thank all members of the government commission for their active participation in the process.””I urge colleagues to consider all proposals as soon as possible and use them in further work,” said Marat Khusnullin.
The meeting approved the gratuitous transfer of a number of real estate properties into municipal ownership, including in the Novosibirsk and Lipetsk regions, for further development. Decisions were made to transfer powers for managing and disposing of federal land plots, including in the Tyumen region, the Komi Republic, and the Stavropol Territory.
Proposals for the privatization of unused federal property were also considered. The transfer of several facilities to the management of “DOM.RF” was approved. Reports on the implementation of previously made decisions regarding the facilities were heard.
