The running club of the trade union of PJSC “KAMAZ” successfully completed the athletics season by taking second place in the corporate standings of League S following the Kazan National Half Marathon. The large-scale event, which gathered thousands of running enthusiasts and professional athletes, took place in the capital of Tatarstan last weekend.
Traditionally, the start was given at the Millennium Bridge, and the main route ran along the picturesque Kremlin embankment. The organizers prepared a diverse program for the participants: adults were offered to test themselves at distances of 3, 10, and 21.1 km, while young participants could try their strength in children’s runs of 300 and 600 meters.
Among the numerous participants in the competition was the Running Club of the trade union of PJSC “KAMAZ”, which competed with the support of the trade union organization of the automotive giant. This year, 43 KAMAZ employees took to the start — a representative team ready to fight for high results. KAMAZ athletes tested their strength on distances of 10 km and 21.1 km.
The team’s main achievement was second place in the corporate standings of League C among other teams from enterprises and organizations. The Kamaz team demonstrated excellent physical fitness and team spirit.
