October in the capital has been declared Moscow Industry Month. From October 13 to 16, the State Budgetary Institution «Small business of Moscow“(MBM) conducts a free online training course for entrepreneurs called “Smart Manufacturing on Your Own.” Participants will be able to identify which processes should be automated first and develop a production digitalization plan — from accounting and sales to organizing employee work — based on available resources and budget.
The course was prepared at the request of the business community as part of the “City Undertakes” project in collaboration with the capital By the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy and the autonomous non-profit organization “Center for Export, Industry, and Investment Support Mosprom“».
The city takes into account the current tasks and requests of entrepreneurs when developing educational support tools. Thus, MBM training will help identify automation priorities and create a step-by-step plan for implementing digital solutions into business processes.
The training includes four webinars, held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Participation is free and available by pre-registration on the MBM portal.
The first webinar — “Digitalization of the workshop: how to monitor employees and processes” — will take place on October 13. Its attendees will learn how to simplify control over shop floor operations, including tracking tasks using trackers and setting up remote monitoring of production processes.
On October 14, a webinar will take place “Digitalization of sales and customer relations”. It will discuss the selection of CRM for small and medium-sized manufacturers, digitization of order collection from various channels, automation of standard responses, expansion to marketplaces, and acceptance of online payments.
Webinar “Digital production accounting: from order and inventory to cost and profit” October 15 will be dedicated to the digitalization of small-scale manufacturing. Entrepreneurs will understand how to connect customer and order management, inventory, procurement, production, and shipping into one system, choose an appropriate digital solution for this, and identify priority areas for automation to save resources.
The course will conclude on October 16 with a webinar “Digitalization in Practice: Experience of an Operating Production”. Participants will analyze a practical case of applying digital solutions using the example of an operating plant and learn about the support measures for entrepreneurs provided by the city.
Support for entrepreneurs is provided within the framework of the implementation of a federal project “Small and Medium Entrepreneurship and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative”, which is part of the national project “Effective and Competitive Economy”, as well as the Mayor of Moscow’s strategies to support capital entrepreneurship.
