Moscow specialists urban utilities complex work began on the construction of a new gas regulation station (GRS) “Rusino” in the Troitsky Administrative Okrug (TAO). This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Communal Services and Improvement Pyotr Biryukov.
“A systematic work is underway in the city to modernize gas pressure regulating stations, which are responsible for reducing gas pressure to certain levels and maintaining them within set limits. In addition, we are building new gas regulation points to ensure reliable and uninterrupted gas supply to residential buildings and industrial enterprises. Such a facility will soon appear in the TAO,” said Petr Biryukov.
The new station will improve the efficiency of the gas supply system for the Voronovo and Krasnopakhorsky districts. Its throughput capacity will be 70,000 cubic meters per hour and will allow increasing the number of connections. The station will be equipped with modern equipment manufactured by Mosgaz JSC’s own production. It is highly reliable and operates with less noise.
All metropolitan gas regulation units are mandatorily equipped with shut-off devices. Their operating parameters are continuously monitored in real time from the central dispatch center.
The modernization and construction of new gas distribution points (GRP) will ensure high-quality gas supply and increase the level of digitalization of the capital’s gas distribution system.
