The “Fashion in Sports 4.0” festival will present sports fashion as a cultural phenomenon where sports, design, art, technology, and craftsmanship meet. Special attention will be given to the Russian school of sportswear, whose masters’ works are in demand among athletes and artists in Russia and abroad.
The runway will showcase costumes by Russian and foreign designers for figure skating, rhythmic gymnastics, synchronized swimming, ballroom dancing, and other aesthetic disciplines, clothing for equestrian sports, and collections from brands working with sporty styles. Alongside professional models, athletes, including basketball players, will participate in the shows.
A creative program will be prepared for the whole family: fashion shows of Russian designers and brands; a children’s program with a children’s sketch contest, master classes, and activities with animators, with the best sketch becoming the basis for a costume that designers will create; an exhibition about the history of sportswear; a business program featuring lectures, panel discussions, and an open mic for young professionals; a sportswear market.
The climax will be the final of the annual competition among sportswear designers, presented in the form of a gala show.
