Muscovites are invited to participate in a new interactive first aid quiz. It was presented by the finalist of the “Russia – Land of Opportunities” award, CEO of LLC “Interactive Content Studio” Pavel Kosyakov. The project appeared in October on the website act-first.rf. Its goal is to spread knowledge among young people about how to act in emergency situations and what can save people’s lives.
“It was important for us to move away from the format of a usual test, where it is enough to simply choose the correct answer. In a real situation, a person needs to quickly assess what is happening, recall the order of actions, and make a decision. Therefore, in the quiz, we combined different mechanics — from questions and algorithms to interactive video situations, in which the participant must notice the mistake themselves and react to it in time,” Pavel Kosyakov said.
The quiz consists of three rounds. In the first, you need to answer 20 multiple-choice questions. In the second, you must complete five tasks related to the sequence of actions in providing first aid. The third round includes analyzing a thematic video: during viewing, users are asked to notice mistakes in the characters’ actions and press the corresponding button in time.
After completing the quiz, everyone can download a personalized electronic certificate from the website. The 10 participants with the best results will receive an invitation to an in-person meeting at the Russian Red Cross museum. There they will be able to attend first aid training sessions and take a tour of the museum.
The quiz was created using the experience of the previous project “Don’t Be Afraid to Save Lives,” in the development of which specialists from the Russian Emergencies Ministry and the Russian Red Cross participated. Interactive episodes of this initiative were completed more than 150,000 times, and the related video content accumulated over 11 million views.
Anyone interested can participate in the quiz on the website act-first.rf.
The quiz is held with the support of the All-Russian public-state movement of children and youth “Movement of the First”.
