The KAMAZ trade union team became the winner of the II Tourist Rally of Russian Mechanical Engineers.
The competition took place on the shore of Lake Turgoyak at the F. Gorelov country recreation center, located in Miass, Chelyabinsk region. The opponents of the Kamaz team were teams from the trade union organizations of “Ural”, “ChKPZ”, “ChTZ-URALTRAK”, “Uralavtopritsep”, and “AvtoVAZ”, with a total number of participants around 80 people.
The organizers prepared a tourist obstacle course and orienteering competition. In the team overall standings for these events, “KAMAZ” took first place. Moreover, Liliya Nenashyeva distinguished herself in the women’s individual orienteering category (6 minutes 50 seconds). The second and third places were also taken by “KAMAZ” representatives Anastasia Belyaeva (7:42) and Irina Bulaeva (8:22). Roman Paikiev from KAMAZ won second place among men (6:20).
The event program also included a business card contest, a photo contest, and the preparation of a wall newspaper. A round table titled “Enterprise. Trade Union. Sport.” was held. At it, representatives of enterprises shared methods of organizing sports and trade union activities. “KAMAZ” impressed everyone with the scale of its Spartakiad: 22 teams participate in it.
At the end of the entire event, the main trophy of the tourism rally was sent to Naberezhnye Chelny along with the Kamaz team. At the same time, each participant of the event was awarded a gold medal and a commemorative gift – merchandise with the rally logo.
