In the Veshnyaki area in the east of the capital, specialists urban utilities complex they have equipped modern infrastructure for recreation and sports. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Communal Services and Improvement Petr Biryukov.
“This year, within the framework of programs to create a comfortable urban environment, two blocks in the Veshnyaki district were renovated — the first is located between Veshnyakovskaya Street, Zhemchugova Alley, and Yunosti Street, the second between Moldagulova, Yunosti, and Snayperskaya Streets, near the Kuskovsky forest park. There, they comprehensively updated children’s and sports infrastructure, arranged places for quiet relaxation, creating new attractions for local residents,” noted Petr Biryukov.
In the first quarter, seven modern playgrounds were set up for young city residents of various ages. They were equipped with slides, swings, and sandboxes, as well as play labyrinths and multifunctional playgrounds.
In the same quarter, a sports cluster was set up with a versatile field for various sports, exercise equipment was installed, and areas with safe surfacing for mini-football, basketball, and streetball were equipped. In the recreation area, swings and benches were placed, and a space was allocated for a coworking area where you can work outdoors.
In the second quarter, playgrounds for role-playing games were set up for children, and for adults, a volleyball court and a multifunctional sports area with exercise equipment were organized. In addition, a relaxation area with swings and deck chairs was created there.
Greening is an essential part of all capital improvement projects, so at the final stage of work, maples and apple trees were planted in the blocks.
