On October 10, new dedicated lanes were introduced on Radio Street in Zelenograd, on Budenny Avenue, in Projected Drive No. 64, and on Minsk Street. Eighteen bus and trolleybus routes pass through here, including main lines. On weekdays, they carry more than 90 thousand trips. The total length of the four sections is about 1.3 kilometers. Thanks to them, public transport traffic will be less dependent on the flow of other vehicles.

“On the instructions of Sergey Sobyanin, we continue to actively develop infrastructure for ground urban transport, ensuring its priority on the streets and highways of the capital. On October 10, new sections of dedicated lanes appeared in three districts of the capital. We introduced them in such a way that it does not affect the movement of other traffic. Buses and electric buses will be able to pass these sections significantly faster. In addition, dedicated lanes reduce the risk of accidents by approximately 25 percent,” said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

Maxim Liksutov.

In Zelenograd on Radio Street, the routes of buses No. 16, 20, 20k, and 400t were previously adjusted. Now, accessing the new section of the route to the Zavodskaya Street stop will take less time.

On Budyonny Avenue, a dedicated lane 0.65 kilometers long will reduce travel time for buses and electric buses on routes T32, C636, No. 83, 469, 680, 691, and 702 by approximately half — from 11 to five minutes.

On Planned Passage No. 64, a dedicated lane was introduced on the section from house 21 in Semenovsky Lane to Bolshaya Semenovskaya Street. On routes No. 552 and 604, 10 buses and trolleybuses run here every hour, and their travel time on this section will be halved.

On Minskaya Street, a dedicated lane about 0.2 kilometers long has been established for routes M34, No. 73, 130, 135, and 355 on the section from Malaya Filevskaya to Bolshaya Filevskaya Street.

Dedicated lanes remain a reliable tool for creating a comfortable environment for ground urban transport movement. They reduce travel time for buses and electric buses on average by two to four times. Allocating lanes to public transport makes trips safer and reduces waiting time at stops. Furthermore, dedicated lanes allow for optimizing transport operations and properly distributing the rolling stock among routes.
