In the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District, work continues on socio-economic development using infrastructure loan mechanisms. Since 2022, projects implemented through this tool have helped attract 195.4 billion rubles of non-budgetary investments. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

“The development of the Far East is a strategic priority for our country, as Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin has emphasized more than once. This macro-region has enormous potential. It hosts immense resources, unique nature, and growth opportunities that we are obliged to unlock for the people. To this end, we actively use infrastructure loans as one of the effective tools to support the regions. Since 2022, 207 facilities and events have been completed in the Far Eastern Federal District: schools, kindergartens, clinics, sports facilities, roads, utility infrastructure – all that is necessary for a comfortable life. This work, in turn, promotes the socio-economic development of the regions. Thus, thanks to the implemented projects, more than 713 thousand square meters of housing have been put into operation in the Far East, 5.2 thousand jobs have been created, and 195.4 billion rubles of off-budget investments have been attracted,” said Marat Khusnullin.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that among the regions of the Far East, the leaders in the number of completed projects and activities were Primorsky Krai (73), the Jewish Autonomous Region (45), and Zabaykalsky Krai (28).

For example, in Vladivostok, a physical culture and health complex for team sports and an open-type GTO center were built on the territory of the “Stroitel” stadium. Also, in the Primorsky Krai, the development of the Sergey Lazo Culture and Recreation Park (third phase) and the Rest Park in Snegovaya Pad (first phase) have been completed, roads were built to the settlement of Russky on the Saperny Peninsula to provide transport accessibility to the residential settlement. There, the overpass over the railway on the Artem – Nakhodka – Vostochny Port route was reconstructed.

In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the reconstruction of a cultural heritage site – house number 13 on Krasintsev Street – has been completed. In the Khabarovsk Krai, a heat main has been constructed from the Khabarovsk CHP-3, extending 10.6 km with a capacity of 250 Gcal/hour.

The Ministry of Construction acts as the curator of the infrastructure loan program, and the operator is the Territorial Development Fund.

“Infrastructure loans allow regions to systematically change the living environment. Behind every completed project are new opportunities for studying, work, recreation, sports activities, more reliable utilities infrastructure, convenient routes. Today, in the Far Eastern Federal District, there are still 173 projects and activities underway that will contribute to the further development of the territories,” noted Vasily Kupyzin, General Director of the Territorial Development Fund.

Thus, in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, the reconstruction of the kindergarten on Permskaya Street and the Avangard stadium continues. In Blagoveshchensk, a preschool educational institution for 350 places is being built in the Northern planning district. In Primorsky Krai, the sewage treatment facilities of the Bolshoy Kamen urban district with a capacity of 51 thousand cubic meters per day are being renovated. It is also planned to improve the embankment of the Chita River and provide engineering infrastructure for a modern world-class university campus in the capital of the Trans-Baikal Territory.
