In Moscow, 135 residential complexes (RC) have been built on the sites of resettled and demolished old housing under the renovation program. The new buildings are located in 59 districts of the capital, containing more than 39,500 apartments. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Policy and Construction. Vladimir Efimov.

“One of the important principles of implementing the renovation program is phased resettlement, which implies the construction of new housing on the sites of the buildings vacated under the current program. Such new buildings are located in all districts of the capital. Today, in Moscow, the construction of 135 residential complexes on the sites of demolition has already been completed. For instance, 36 new buildings have been erected in the South-Eastern Administrative Okrug of the capital, 17 each in the North-Eastern and South-Western districts, and 15 in the Eastern Administrative Okrug,” said Vladimir Efimov.

In Kuzminki, 14 residential complexes have been built, and in Lyublino — eight. The first floors of the buildings are non-residential. Pharmacies, shops, cafes, and recreational centers are being opened there so that city residents have the necessary infrastructure within walking distance. The courtyards are being landscaped.

After full resettlement, the old buildings are dismantled using the “smart demolition” technology. In addition, when constructing new houses, methods are applied that help reduce resource consumption. The quality of work under the renovation program is monitored by specialists from “Kontrol Moskvy”.

“Inspectors from Mosgosstroynadzor regularly conducted control and supervisory activities at the construction sites of the renovation program. In total, more than 1,700 on-site inspections were carried out, resulting in conclusions confirming that the new buildings complied with the project documentation requirements and permits for commissioning were issued,” noted the chairman of the Moscow Committee for State Construction Supervision.

Anton Slobodchikov.

The renovation program was approved in August 2017. It concerns about one million Muscovites and entails the resettlement of 5,176 houses. Sergey Sobyanin ordered to increase the pace of the renovation program’s implementation in twice. He also spoke about its implementation in Ryazan district.
