The Russian National Museum of Music invites you to the electro-acoustic show “Piano and Keys.” The piano duo “Inoki,” composed of Moscow Conservatory graduates and international competition laureates Maxim Markov and Igor Sviridov, will perform before the audience.
The artists will transform the stage into a space where the academic tradition meets contemporary musical aesthetics, and will present original compositions—dramatic, rich, with symphonic grandeur—as well as a new interpretation of works by Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Sergey Rachmaninoff.
The piano duet turns to neoclassical avant-garde — a direction that combines the expressiveness of academic music with the experiments of modern electronics. Acoustic and electronic pianos will engage in dialogue with synthesizers and drum-and-bass rhythms, creating a multilayered and expansive sound. Light will become part of this musical space, highlighting the dynamics of the performance and turning the concert into a full-fledged stage show.
Duration — 80 minutes without intermission.
