An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

The annual, now traditional, Donor Day took place at the State University of Management.

Students and teachers came to donate blood to help those affected.

Statistics show that every 3rd person on Earth needs a blood transfusion at some point in their life, and many of them require blood daily.

The traditional volunteer campaign of the State University of Management for blood donation has been held at our university since 2013 twice a year and constantly attracts from 50 to 200 people at different times.

Blood donation takes place under the supervision of doctors. Before the decision to collect blood is made, the potential donor undergoes the necessary examination.

Only 400 ml of blood is taken from the donor at one time, which is not harmful in this volume for a healthy person. Blood donation has a stimulating effect. The body recovers faster from blood loss, so donors are active, positive, and cheerful people.

The State University of Management thanks everyone who responded today to the call to help those in need. Perhaps today you saved someone’s life, and maybe tomorrow someone will save yours.
