On October 1, the heating season will begin in Moscow. More than 74 thousand facilities have been prepared for the autumn-winter period, including over 34 thousand apartment buildings.
“By the order of Sergey Sobyanin, the capital will begin turning on the heating starting Thursday, October 1. During the summer period, city services carried out extensive work to prepare for the new heating season. All heat mains and facilities have been properly prepared, which guarantees reliable heat supply to consumers,” said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Communal Services and Improvement.
Work in the city began in May and was completed within the established timeframe — by September 1. Specialists conducted hydraulic and temperature tests of the heating networks, which allowed for the early identification and repair of unreliable sections.
