In Library No. 27, as part of the “Kaleidoscope of Handicrafts” project, there will be a workshop called “Beaded Airplane,” conducted by the craftswoman, restorer of fabrics and beads, Elena Spiridonova. She is skilled in embroidery, bead weaving, sewing, kanzashi, and fantasy techniques.
A librarian will talk about the history of bead weaving in Russia and introduce special literature from the collection. To create a souvenir, beads of different colors, wire, fishing line, and scissors will be needed. The finished airplane will become a gift or decoration for the home.
